Instructions
- 1 Dye Strip per 2000 Litres of water
- 2 to 4 Dye Strips per 2000 Litres of murky sewage
- 4 to 5 Dye Strips per septic system (or more depending on the size of the septic tank)
Because these dye strips are safe to use, we suggest you use MORE rather than less to ensure you get accurate test result.
When testing septic systems, enter dye strip into water of toilet or any drain that flows to the septic tank and flush with ample water. If dye does not surface in 15-20 minutes, return to test site in a few hours. If dye still has not surfaced, return to the test site every 24 hours. It could take a few trips before dye surfaces.
